Organizers in Toledo need volunteers for Tent City services planned for Friday and Saturday. The annual event brings community partners together to assist people in need across the city. People can sign up online to help.
The program will feature several resources for visitors. These offerings include medical services, meals and haircuts.
The schedule also features clothing, entertainment and kids’ activities. Official Ohio birth certificates will be provided.
Tent City operates each year as a collaborative effort. Toledo area organizations gather to deliver direct aid to residents.
Community partners supply workers and resources for the two-day gathering.
