Jonathan Parr and Jacqueline Coleman arrested on Etna Township charges
Jonathan Parr and Jacqueline Coleman face child endangerment charges after their arrests Monday in Etna Township. Officials took nine children from the home into protective custody.
Detectives served a search warrant at a house on National Road Southwest, according to the Licking County Sheriff. Twelve people lived at the residence, detectives said.
Investigators described the house as having “appalling and unsafe living conditions.” All nine youths are now in the custody of child protective services. They left the house Monday.
Child protective services handles custody when authorities find unsafe domestic environments. The agency places youths in safe care during open neglect inquiries.
The sheriff’s office said additional charges against Parr and Coleman are possible. The case remains in Etna Township.
