Kevin Herman announces retirement as Anthony Wayne superintendent in Whitehouse

Kevin Herman will retire from his top leadership post in Whitehouse on August 9, 2027. His planned departure concludes over a decade of service in the school system. Herman made the announcement Monday.

Herman will have served as superintendent for two years at that point. He worked as interim superintendent the year prior. He also served eleven years as assistant superintendent at Anthony Wayne.

Public school districts follow leadership transition plans when top executives leave. School boards oversee this standard process. They guide operations in Whitehouse.

He leaves before the next school year starts.
