Lucas County seeks Toledo residents feedback on emergency alert systems

Lucas County officials want Toledo residents to share their thoughts on local emergency notification tools. Public feedback will help local leaders improve warning methods during dangerous events. This initiative focuses on community safety.

The Lucas County Emergency Management Agency launched an online questionnaire for the community. The agency asks the public to rate several notification tools.

“The results of this survey will help our Emergency Management Agency better serve the public during an emergency,” the Lucas County Commissioners said. “We want to understand which alert and notification systems our residents rely on, what is working, and what needs to be improved or changed to ensure all residents are prepared and informed.”

The evaluation covers outdoor warning sirens across Toledo. It reviews Wireless Emergency Alerts. It also examines the Lucas County Alerts system.

Emergency management agencies coordinate disaster response across local communities. These agencies test and maintain public safety broadcast tools to protect residents.

Residents can complete the questionnaire online at https://arcg.is/X0uWi1.
