A full episode of Toledo’s Nightly News at 6 from 1981 is being unlocked in the 13abc Vault at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. The episode features anchors Randy Price, Frank Venner and Frank Gilhooley, along with meteorologist Stan Stachak.
The episode revisits stories from the day, including two city boats that mysteriously sank in the Maumee River and a bank robbery suspect caught eight minutes after the alarm sounded.
“It’s a nostalgic look at how the news , and Toledo , looked more than four decades ago,” according to 13abc.
